But there are things that can be done that will not hurt your unborn child. A good muscle massage has been known to work wonders. Not only will this feel good and relive some or all of the pain, but it will also help your blood to circulate better. This can be done by your partner. This is the economical way. If a professional is chosen, then it could get expensive.
Another non medicine way for pain relief does take a profession to administer, and that is acupuncture. This is a know treatment to for back pain relief. Pregnancy does last 9 months and this again could require a great deal of money.
One way that will bring almost instant relief to your sore and tired back is to either take a bath or get into a pool of water. Since water is denser that air, the gravitational effects are less noticed. This way the water will be taking over some of the support that your body is currently undertaking. This relief is so instant and so great that there are those that do not wish to get out.
When laying down on either a bed or a sofa, stress on your back will originate from the placement of your legs. This is the easiest to alleviate. Place a pillow between your knees. This will properly align your legs and allow the muscles in your back to relax which will relieve the pain.
Some exercises have also helped those find relief. The most affective exercise is the pelvic tilts. This will bring limited relief but can be done daily without any harm to your unborn child.
As with all of those that seek relief, the old reliable ice pack works wonders. By purchasing a reusable cold pack, this can be done several times a day to bring relief. One precaution should be taken and that a cold pack should only be in place for ½ an hour or damage to the skin may result.
One ingenious woman that understood physics came up with a solution that really works. By placing a scarf or other long piece of cloth under the belly of a woman and the other end round the neck and tie them together. Make sure the sling is tight but not restricting. This sling will take some of the weight off the back by repositioning it. It sounds too simple to work but it does. This will lift the belly just enough that relief will be found.
It is possible to find back pain relief. Pregnancy does not have to mean 9 months of pain.
